Lakes Speciality Foods, home of the Lake District Sausage & Bacon Company, is one of the fastest growing meat companies in the North West of England. Combining over 2 centuries worth of experience amongst the farming, meat and catering industry sectors, Lakes Speciality Foods has put itself in a strong position to ensure consumers receive the quality that is required in the modern day.
We are a great supporter of sustainable agriculture linking directly with local producers and processors ensuring you receive products that have been sourced with the concept of sustainability, animal welfare and most importantly food miles and seasonality as a priority.
Following our growth and success we have expanded inline to match our customers supply demands, and have recently completed a full upgrade of our existing facilities and opened our new sausage and bacon curing unit at Staveley. Further to these changes we are now extremely happy to be able to offer a direct retail section to our business through our online shop and from our premises in Staveley, as well as our new Pinks brand sausage and bacon, premium quality without the premium price!
